Gearing up for The Game Fair

With only one day to go until The Game Fair opens its doors to countryside enthusiasts at Blenheim Palace, we wanted to share three of our ‘must dos’ at the event.

As official partner of the UK’s largest countryside festival, we’re excited to share our passion for the world of whisky with visitors and vendors alike.

1. Try something new

The Game Fair is a perfect place to experience a new activity. Or have a go at something you’ve always wanted to try. From archery and airguns to fishing and polo. The festival has a wealth of new outdoor pursuits for you to get stuck into.

Or, if you are already an experienced shot or well versed in the ways of coarse or fly fishing, experts will be ready to help hone your skills and take your sport to the next level.

The team at Whisky 1901 will be trying their hand at clay pigeon shooting with invited guests during the three-day event. We’re looking forward to hosting our visitors and having a go at a new pursuit!

2. Taste something new

The festival is famed for its good food and championing seasonal produce and British producers. This year is no different! Visitors will find a wealth of opportunities to sample the very best that the British countryside has to offer. With demonstrations and tastings galore, you will be spoilt for choice.

If you fancy trying a new tipple during your food and drink exploration, join us for one of our whisky tasting seminars and events. Whisky enthusiasts and novices alike will have the opportunity to savour the rich flavours and complexities of premium whiskies during an immersive experience.

We will also be unveiling our limited edition bottled Scotch to the public during the event. We selected a rare Glenburgie 1988 single cask expression (70cl/45.1% ABV) from the Speyside distillery. The first in our independent bottling line known as The Collection.

To further add to the interactive nature of the event, attendees will be invited to embark on an exciting quest to discover ten authentic serving windows. Each are intricately designed to pay homage to the wine windows of Tuscany. This engaging activity adds a layer of adventure and discovery to the event. Guests are invited to explore and uncover hidden treasures throughout the fair.

3. Find out about something new

We get a real buzz from sharing our passion for whisky and the opportunities for investment with others. During the three days we will be holding a number of presentations and seminars on the whisky cask investment market. These will offer attendees an insight into the opportunities and how they can get started on their investment journey.

From sharing insights on the whisky cask investment market to providing guidance on building balanced portfolios. Whisky 1901 experts will offer invaluable expertise to The Game Fair’s discerning audience.

Join us for a dram

Whisky 1901 founder and CEO, Aaron Damiano Sparkes, and Harry Bradley, Head of Distribution at Whisky 1901, will be at the fair. Both will be on hand to talk about Whisky 1901, the whisky cask investment industry and the company’s newly launched limited edition Glenburgie 1988 single cask expression Scotch.

Get in touch to find out more about whisky cast investment or find us at the event. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing a dram!
